December is the best time of year for shoppers of all kinds, sneaker shoppers included. As one of the biggest sneaker brands in the world, Nike’s December release schedule promises not to disappoint, with new shoes coming out throughout the month of December from a variety of brands, styles, and even a few collaborations. This is a fast guide to some of the more highly anticipated releases coming up this month so that you can plan your holiday shopping accordingly.

December 9th:
Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low Desert Ore
Nike Air Max 1 Bronze Eclipse
The shopping season kicks off with two understated brown and gold color schemes. The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low Desert Ore gets is name because, while it has a sandy-colored upper when it first comes out of the box, that upper will slowly wear away over time to reveal either a royal blue or dark powder blue color colorway. The Air Max 1 Bronze Eclipse is an old-school silhouette with a very new color scheme. Dressed in smart browns and golds, the Air Max 1 has never looked this classy.

December 10th:
Nike Dunk Low Viotech 2019
A highly anticipated re-release, the Nike Dunk Low Viotech color scheme comes in vibrant patches of red, orange, blue, and purple. A very limited release, the 2019 is almost identical to the original release. It sounds almost too good to be true for anyone who’s been hunting for a pair of these shoes since they first dropped years ago.

December 12th:
OFF-WHITE x Nike WMNS Waffle Racer Fuschsia
OFF-WHITE x Nike WMNS Waffle Racer White
OFF-WHITE x Nike WMNS Waffle Racer Vivid Sky
Nike Adapt Huarache Racer Blue
December 12th is a big release day for Nike fans, with four amazing drops being released within 24 hours. Designer Virgil Abloh’s recent OFF-WHITE x Nike “Queen” collection of women’s sneakers, inspired by Serena Williams, was extraordinarily popular, and one of the most interesting releases in women’s shoes in a long time. Fortunately, Abloh’s collaboration with Nike is continuing on, beginning with three colorways for the Nike Waffle Racer silhouette to be released on December 12th. Today will also see a futuristic looking Racer Blue colorway for the Nike Adept Huarache, a work-out shoe released last summer that has proven to be one of the most high-tech shoes in the Nike catalog.

December 13th:
Nike LeBron 17 Currency
LeBron James will be dropping a new colorway for the Nike LeBron 17 on December 13th. Alternately called the “Currency” or “Exchange Rate” colorway by retailers, this new shoe is inspired by international currency. Featuring a black-knit upper with iridescent accents on the sole and Nike swoosh, this shoe has an appropriately classy look for something inspired by money and international wealth.

December 14th:
Loopwheeler x Nike Air Max 90
Commemorating 20 years of collaboration with Nike, the Japanese brand Loopwheeler will be releasing a new pair of Air Max 90s on December 14th. The grey-and-black mesh uppers feature the characteristic Loopwheeler knit style, and promise to offer a hearty helping of the comfort and durability that Loopwheeler collabs are known and loved for.

December 19th:
Nike Air More Uptempo Laser Crimson
Nike Air Max 270 React Black Electric Green
The 19th features two Nike Air releases, the More Uptempo Laser Crimson and the Air Max 270 React in a Black Electric Green colorway. The Nike Air More Uptempo Laser Crimson is a very old-school style, featuring chunky red-and-white laser AIR detailing on the sides. These high-top silhouettes may look vintage, but are paired with contemporary Nike Air technology to provide the comfort and support we’ve grown to expect from sneakers in 2019. The Nike Air Max 270 React Black Electric Green, on the other hand, looks like something from the future. The Air Max 270 React already has a sleek, space-age silhouette, and combined with the new electric green stitching, it looks pure science fiction.
