The Hu collection was launched as a tribute to the various shades of humanity. The Solar Hu glide features a colorful upper that mixes orange, yellow, green, blue, red, black and peach. It sounds bizarre, but it’s actually a very attractive explosion of colors that are bound to turn a few heads. The midsole is black, while the outsole is white. You can also find these sneakers in black and white colorways.
The appearance is not the only thing that is appealing. The interior is well-cushioned and the outsole is very flexible. The shoe makes use of Energized cushioning Boost technology that helps it respond well to weight.
The mesh upper provides your feet with breathability and support. The conventional lace ties are removed, and you have rope laces that form a Primeknit instead of it. This keeps your foot locked securely in place. The rear end is supported by rubber molding. This also allows for better traction.
On the whole, The Pharrell Williams x Adidas Solar Hu Glide does a good job of mixing flexibility and functionality with versatility. The shape may remind you of the Ultra Boost, but the Solar Hu looks a lot more attractive.
You might find it to be a little on the pricey end, but given the durability, comfort, and style, the Pharrell Williams x Adidas Solar Hu is a worthy investment.
